Fantastic park with rugged, wild scenery. Something for everyone here. Ski in and ski out in winter. Or hike to the manned huts in summer. Rondane is known for its rocks, so you have to LOVE walking on them :) Even though, it's very diverse and underestimated (everyone wants to go to Jotunheimen of course) but if you've ever hiked the Rondanestien from Oslo, you'll appreciate the full worth and value of seeing Rondane for the first time, after having walked 300+ km with a heavy backpack. An experience you'll just be mesmerised by. Rondane is filled with Norwegian folklore, saga, mystery and more. An unforgettable park, and a must on everyone's tour.

The same as Trollheimen, if not more beatiful. Also set up with public huts/guesthouses open for tourists in the summer. Routes for beginners as well for more experienced hikers. Breathtaking view and mountains. Maybe bring a tent for the trip?

At once tranquil and sublime, Rondane National Park is an ideal place to experience the mountains and highlands of Eastern Norway.
