Extensive wooded parkland with gym equipment & shaded paths popular for walking, biking & jogging.
Our version of Central Park. Great for bike rides, walks and just to take in nature.
It is a protected natural area that covers the municipalities of San Salvador and Antiguo Cuscatlán, in El Salvador. It is part of the El Espino Forest Reserve. It has an area of 91 hectares, which makes it a lung for the Salvadoran capital and the largest ecological park within a Central American capital.
this is probably one of the biggest (and safe) parks in the country. Watch your belongings though and women do not go by yourselves. A lot of nature around…it is next to a major highway but if you go deep inside enough you may get a whole different sense of things. it's mostly walking/bike paths though (and not all of them are paved)
