Irving house is a beautifully preserved house once owned by a prominent citizen of New Westminster. It is decorated with period pieces and run by knowledgeable volunteers.
Built in 1865, and lived in by Captain Irving and his Family up until 1950. It was then purchase by the City of New Westminster. It is said to be haunted, but not known for that. Daily tours. Recommended.
Over 140 years of memories live within this colonial home, only a few moments walk from our door. 14 furnished rooms show how people lived lavishly without modern day amenities.
