Sangoshō

Locals love coming to this curry shop to eat after they’ve been out surfing. It’s accessible from Shichirigahama Station, where the Enoshima Electric Railway stops in a quiet, residential area facing the sea. On holidays and weekends it gets busy at lunchtime—the surfers usually drop by a little later on. There are two Sangosho locations—there’s actually one more branch nearby that offers views of the sea and has a different menu—but the deep-fried beef cutlet curry is only available at this branch, and it’s absolutely delicious. You have to order it.
