The building meant to house important institutions is a typical example of Neo-Romanian architectural style, specific to that time. Museum displays a variety of objects, stone artifacts, bones tools (6000*1800 BC), cists from the Bronze Age.Hellenistic pottery, weapons discovered during escavations at Jidova Castrum, Roman and Dacian ceramics, Roman coins,. An important item is the letter of Neacsu Lupu, written in Romanian(facsimile), the oldest surviving document available in Romanian that can be reliably dated
