Tremenheere Sculpture gardens and gallery is a unique garden which people of all ages enjoy. It has a cafe and gallery that are also worth visiting and I have shown paintings at the gallery a number of times. The staff are very friendly.
Walk through the south facing, dramatic, exotic, subtropical landscape and be sure to visit the Observatory at the top of the hill which is spectacular when the sky is blue. TSG sits in the middle of what local farmers called the Golden mile due to the past high success of crop farming there. A gallery has been added to the site more recently which is also excellent. LOCALS TIP - Tie your trip in with lunch at the Tremenheere kitchen and you will definitely not be disappointed (my favourite place for lunch)

Not far from Penzance and overlooking St Michaels Mount you will find a sheltered Valley of tropical plants interwoven with contemporary sculptures by internationally renowned artists including James Turrell, David Nash and Richard Long. It also has two exhibition spaces set in oak framed buildings. Open mid Feb to end of October.
Fascinating garden full of surprises and many sculptures including the amazing Restless Temple. Can be combined with a visit to St Michael's Mount.
