Salobrena castle from Moorish times, surrounded by the old town with steep and winding streets.
It is one of the last unspoiled sites in Spain. The castle dates back to the Morish time. Salobrena was like Granada one of the last towns reconquered by the Spanish Catholics in the 15th century.
Castillo de Salobreña is the most important monument of Salobreña, Granada. It is known the existence of a fortress in Salobreña since the X century. Although the distribution corresponds to the construction that was built at Nasrid time, the Castillo de Salobreña is the result of the contribution of the Muslim and Christian architecture.
