Lovely vibe. Nice coffee shops for teas, or pubs to have a drink. A car free promenade with shops, pubs, coffee shops. Often markets and live music.

As well as being the site of the spring from which the town gets its name, The Pantiles is a great place to hang out with pubs, restaurants, art galleries and shops. There is a farmer's market every 1st & 3rd Saturday and a Jazz festival every Thursday night from May till September. Tables can be booked for al fresco dining. There is a farmers' market every third Saturday of the month.
