This is the iconic lighthouse of Genoa. It's the main symbol of Genoa. It's the oldest lighthouse of Europe (3rd in the world) and the 2nd tallest in Europe (5th in the world).
The Lighthouse of Genoa (Italian: Lanterna di Genova), is the main lighthouse for the city's port. Besides being an important aid to night navigation in the vicinity, the tower serves as a symbol and a landmark for the City of Genoa.
