Go see the crocodile. There is a little museum with some pictures of the old Cancun
Located within walking distance, enjoy an encounter with local fauna and vegetation in this peaceful park.
Parque Urbano Kabah is worth a visit if you're in the area. It's a jungle- park with walking/running trails, a kids playground, small museum, crocodile pools, a turtle pond, outdoor exercise equipment, and wandering raccoon-like animals called "coatis". The trail goes in a loop that you can walk easily (it's quite well maintained) and the coatis are a lot of fun to watch (the groundskeepers feed them fruit so you'll see plenty near the fruit piles). There are two entrances to this park (with parking lots in both) - on Ave Nichupte and across from Costco on Ave Rodrigo Gomez Recommended for kids, couples, and people looking for a safe place to walk or run during your stay in Cancun
