A nice day trip to do from Urubamba is to visit the Salt Mines in Maras. It's a couple of hour hike to the ruins and only costs you a little fee to get in.
These amazing salt mines are only 25 minutes walk from Willka T'ika / Healing Gardens. Just follow the dirt path downriver until you get to the bridge. Then straight up the hill until you see the white pools.
