Fun, FREE, outdoor experience. There is quite a bit of going up and down here, so be prepared for a small hike!
Japanese Tea Garden (free admission): The Japanese Tea Garden is a must-see while staying here. You will find a beautiful collection of flowers and landscaping that offers some of the most scenic views in San Antonio.
This is one of the most beautiful spots in the city - you will forget where you are as you step down into the gardens to see the ponds and plants! It is free to visit. Stop by Jingu House for lunch or tea while visiting the gardens.
FAVORITE place in town. Free. Beautiful. And close. Check out their little tea shop and take in the beauty. Fascinatingly, you'll see signs for the "Chinese tea garden," which was an absurd name change that flies in the face of it's heritage, but was changed during World War 2.
